Especially for the ADD amongst us. This summer I will blog about New Rochelle Downtown. Then I will leave New Rochelle Downtown.

Brickyard Bistro is finally hitting some stride. Fledgling bar scene, late night food are the best attributes. Trying hard with the music and that is good.

Not to be outdone, Mason’s, has introduced a great bar-food menu sprinkled with some good ‘ol Irish home cooking like Shepards Pie and the like.

Gnarly Vine is only getting better. So rare to see a devoted chef/owner who is also personable. Great food and decent wine. Nice atmosphere on many nights.

Top businesses in downtown New Ro - Barbers and hair dressers, churches, dollar stoors, Mexican restaurants, Glass House, others.

Top businesses needed in downtown New Ro - take out sushi, sex toys.

New Rochelle is trying to be White Plains with parking tickets. Advice to government, get some property taxes from Avalon, Trump and New Roc and stop nickel and dimeing us to death. Its not our fault that previous administrations made bad deals with developers.

SSS charges crazy prices and are moving as fast as they can to the terrible self-checkout while Shoprite has great prices, great selection and GREAT service. Good riddance to Super Stop and Shop.

This is the only yoga studio in downtown New Rochelle and it is a great space with great teachers.   I am no expert but this is certainly a welcoming and friendly place that will give you a tremendous workout.
